Fall Interior Inspiration

Now that Labor Day is behind us, it’s time to start thinking ahead to the cooler fall months.  Although we are sad for summer to end, we are also excited for the change in seasons and what fall brings with it: Cozy textures, deep, warm colors, crisp air, and evenings with a fire going.  Scroll below to see some of our favorite photos that inspire us to get our homes ready for fall.

A deep orange duvet and decorative pillow make this bedroom seem even cozier.

Vivid jewel tones are a fall style staple.

Add some jewel tones with our Alexandra Sofa and Chair!

One of our favorite things we look forward to as the seasons get cooler: Entertaining! The stunning chandelier, lovely seasonal decorative accents, and perfectly set table are wonderful for the eyes, but make our stomachs growl too as we anticipate what food will be on the plates!

This is the ideal den with such a stylish chaise, wood paneling, and rich color palette.

The bright tangerine sofa and bouquet of yellow and orange flowers bring a lovely pop of color into the room.

Add a touch of tangerine with our Orange Leopard Pillow.

Plum walls, orange accents, soft lighting, and velvet texture make us ready to stay snuggled inside on those cool fall nights.

This fantastic fireplace is just BEGGING for a fire!

The wood accents, neutral hues, and fur accessories give this room a modern yet homey look.

Stunning burnt orange velvet chairs, a dazzling rug, and bold decor create a room perfect for fall.

This fall-inspired rug would make a great accent in your home!

Just because it’s fall doesn’t mean you can’t dine al fresco! Set up your table and chairs and bring some comfy pillows and a warm throw to enjoy an outdoor meal!

Terrific Trunks For Your Home

We love using trunks as part of our decor and think they’re a great way to combine style and storage.  Whether you use a trunk in a bedroom, entryway, bathroom, or foyer, they’ll add a unique look to a room and are a fun alternative to a typical table you’d ordinarily see.  Here are some inspiring photos of different ways trunks are used in various homes, as well as some of our trunks that would work great in yours!

Why settle for one trunk when you can have two?

A tall trunk can make a great dry bar and a fantastic place to hide away those pricey bottles of wine you’re saving.

The dark wood of the trunk looks great against the mostly light decor of this stunning space.

A trunk at the end of the bed is a perfect for storing linens and giving yourself a place to sit when you’re putting on your shoes!

This Reclaimed Castle Treasure Box would look amazing in both a traditional home or with a more modern interior.

A vintage trunk is perfect for any space that needs some extra storage or a surface for displays.

This rustic storage chest gives the neutral room some depth and makes it look homey and warm.

Elegant chairs, a metallic modern sofa, graphic prints, and a stylish chest combine to make this room unforgettable.

A trunk makes a pretty nightstand, especially in a soft, creamy hue.

This Postal Stamp Storage Trunk is an adorable take on a traditional storage chest.

A trunk works well as a side table too, and the contrast of the rustic trunk with the modern chair and sofa makes it especially interesting.

This proves that you don’t have to choose between a console table and a trunk – you can have both!

This Jaipur Trunk from Furniture Connexion mixes in well with any style of home decor.

The items below combine to create the perfect combination of rustic charm with a modern sensibility, ideal for a home in the high desert to create a look similar to the ones shown above.

These photos have a fun, retro vibe that makes us yearn for a trip to Palm Springs!

Red, White, and Blue Interiors

In honor of the 4th of July, we thought it made sense to post photos of interiors with a red, white, and blue color scheme.  Normally we might consider this color scheme to look a little country and too Americana for our taste, but these photos prove that decorating with our nation’s colors can be sophisticated, modern, and even glamorous.  How do you incorporate red, white, and blue into your decor?

Which interior is your favorite?  Head over to Furniture Connexion’s website to see the fun red, white, and blue furniture pieces we have for your home!
